• 我（奇異公司前執行長傑克‧魏爾契）不知道默克藥廠（Merck）回收關節炎及急性疼痛治療藥物偉克適（Vioxx）的細節，但我敢說，早在幾年前一定開始有人服藥後心臟出問題，看似零星無關的案例出現。一些科學家接到那些報告，可能已經隱約懷疑和偉克適有關，最後更擴大研究。可能因為這樣，2004年秋才終於全面回收那種藥品。 （資料來源：待查）
