亨利‧沃頓(Henry Wotton)

科學家和外交官不是一拍即合的人。科學的工作是探索真相,17世紀的外交官亨利‧沃頓(Henry Wotton)卻說了一句名言,把駐外使節定義為「為了國家的利益,派赴海外說謊的誠實人」。Scientists and diplomats are not obvious bedfellows.
